Yet another coin we have not handled in a few years (the last time was early 2007). We either haven’t seen ones we liked, or the prices were too high. Finally, we purchased one with everything going for it!
Even the pickiest PR Lincoln buyer WILL love this SUPERB GEM! There is a little area of TONING in the upper left field. The balance of the surfaces are fully Mint Red and have a full luster. You can easily see the Matte texture. Lincoln and all of the details are knife sharp in strike. The eye appeal is like the coins quality-exceptional!
PCGS 18, NGC 2, CAC 1. PCGS has graded 6 coins higher (only one is CAC). One of those would cost well over $12,500.00-if you could even find one! This coin did not come from any auction, it was from a private transaction. The last one that was in a major public auction sold for $5,462.50 08/09 B+M. Opportunity knocks loud here!
