no question this coin has sat undisturbed for many years. Virgin surfaces are slightly sating and are extremely clean all over. Both sides are an even mellow ORIGINAL GEM MINT RED with a hint of gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is very pleasing!
PCGS 71, NGC 52, CAC 19. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $2,115.00 09/2013 Heritage. We can’t say we have seen many examples of this date offered recently! This coin was handpicked by Legend because it was so clean. Even the dreaded reverse was not as whacked up as normal. The surfaces have a good luster and a pretty even and totally ORIGINAL deep gold color. There are NO spots. All of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is superb!
