1C 1877 PCGS PR65+ RD GRAYSON

For an 1877 1C Proof, this coin is light years beyond what we have typically seen. This piece really is a PR65.8+! Deep and glittering mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors have strong clarity and are clean. Even using a strong glass all you can find are a few stray toning dots-no problems. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of red ice. No question the color is an original GEM Mint red and there is no signs of any fading. Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is gorgeous! ONLY 900 were minted. PCGS 22, NGC 13, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 2 in PR65+ RD. The other coin  sold for $13,200.00 in 12/2018 and was NOT CAC. It is important to note, this coin has been with the Grayson Collection for many years.
