WOW! What a surprisingly lively coin!
Deep and glittering mirrors have great clarity, depth, cleanliness (there is one teenie toning spot at 8:00 on the obverse), and boldly reflective. Lovely original light toning of golden brown/pale lilac is evenly spread out. This is no where near the dullish typical 1860’s you normally see. The Indian and all of the details are extra frosty and have needle sharp full strikes. The eye appeal is wicked awesome!
PCGS 12, NGC 12, CAC 2. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, these are hard to find-NICE! The other PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $9,988.00 04/2014 Heritage. Opportunity knocks loud for the PR Indian Cent collector!
