What a cool coin. Never saw any 1859 MS 1C as nice!
Shimmering surfaces are so pristine that even if you used a microscope to check them out with you would find NOTHING wrong anywhere. That means NO spots or flecks. A full booming luster shows off totally ORIGINAL copper nickel type color. All of the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is spectacular!
PCGS 20, NGC 10, CAC 4 (none higher). PCGS has graded an MS66+ (which sold for $34,500.00 2/12 Heritage). The ONLY PCGS MS66 CAC piece to sever sell in auction brought $11,750.00 04/2-13 Heritage. It was NOT this piece. We saw the small fresh raw group of 1C it came out of!
