1C 1856 FE PCGS PR64

Finding a true GEM 1856 FE is hard. There are too many low end or just ugly coins that were graded to meet the demand of places like Ebay (when they were selling coins like crazy to high uneducated masses).

VERY high end quality. This coin looks as good as many of the PR65’s you’ll see! The surfaces are VERY clean and actually offer decent reflectivity from the mirrors. No spots or discolorations are visible. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The color is a magnificent original chestnut pale brown with highlights of soft gold and violet. The eye appeal is fantastic!
