PCGS is about as stingy as can be when it comes to grading Large Cents. No one will question this coins grade. The fields are flawless and have alight satiny texture. A surprisingly decent luster highlights about 10% ORIGINAL Mint Red color. THERE ARE zero spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
Keep in mind, it took 20+ years until this coin came out for an MS67 to be graded at PCGS. PCGS 1, NGC 16, CAC 1. From the second we saw this coin we wanted to own it. We were prepared to pay much higher than we did. A true MONSTER coin like this probably will never come along again!
