1C 1851/81 PCGS MS65+ GRAYSON

This is a coin marvel at. Why it is  graded just and MS65+ BN only PCGS knows we sure do not! Amazing surfaces are amazingly clean smooth. Only using a strong glass can you find a Mint made die lines. The reverse has some hidden small planchet issues-all originally  “as struck”. A gloss like luster beams from all over. The obverse has gorgeous totally original even brown with hints of pale red. The reverse has more pale with light brown. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. You do not  need a glass or an imagination to see the over date. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 11, NGC 10, CAC 7. In 02/2017 a piece sold for $4,113.00-a non +.  No + coins have ever sold via auction. The current Collectors Universe Value is $4,500.00. This coin is certainly a nice example of the over date!
