LOT 657 NAFTZGER. We LOVE coins called Brown that actually have lots of mint red color. PCGS showed this coin no favoritism!
The surfaces are amazingly clean. Both sides have a semi velvety appearance and yet have faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. There are NO spots or discolorations. About 10% faded original mint red color mixes with smooth chocolate brown. A strong luster also shows off the fully struck details. The eye appeal is like the quality-phenomenal!
PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 1. Only NGC has graded one coin higher-a MS66BN. Acquired by Naftzger back in 1958 from Virgil Brand.
