Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. There is a tiny planchet flake on the lower obverse that we think is what keeps this magnificent coin from MS65BN. There is a slight luster to the coin (typical for the date). Both sides are a choice original chocolate brown with very faint shades of red. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 4. The last PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction brought $2,703.00 02/2017.
