Originally, in the Naftzger sale it was a 66BN. We did resubmit it. We graded this coin lock MS66+ RB strong shot 67. PCGS is just too chicken on these coins to grade them. Regardless, it is one of the most perfect 1842 1C you will ever see!
Both sides are FLAWLESS. There are NO planchet issues and the surfaces do glow with a surprising full luster. About 40% ORIGINAL Mint Red is clearly visible and mixes with light even brown color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is incredible!
