A full booming luster is something you expect from a Morgan Dollar, not a 1831 1C. Well this coin DOES have it and it powerfully shows off the smooth and outrageously clean surfaces. The surfaces are slightly glossy and do actually have hints of semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides are a mild chocolate with hints of pale red and violet. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and stand out with strong strikes. The eye appeal is like the coins quality-tremendous!

PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 1. We can not stress the importance of buying a coin like this when you can. Most of the incredible Naftzger coins went off into VERY strong hands. Few are offered on the secondary market. As time goes on, you’ll see less and less. There is NO Large cent Collection in the world that is a comparable quality to what Naftzger had. In fact we have NOT yet seen a single coin with his pedigree we did not like.
