At first glance you are blown away by how much ORIGINAL MINT RD is still visible (30% obv. and 60% rev). The surfaces are totally ORIGINAL and have NO issues what so ever. A full booming luster enhances the colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and appear boldly. Remember, this isn’t a coin from the 1880’s! Its a GEM perfectly kept Cent thats 176 years old! PCGS definitely was conservative in its grading and color designation! Your eyes will be soothed by this coins eye appeal.
GEM examples just does not appear. PCGS 3, NGC 0. NGC has graded 2 in MS66BN. PCGS has NO MS65’s and one 66 in RB. Opportunity knocks loud here for the serious Large Cent enthusiast!
