1C 1824 PCGS MS63BN N-3

We only buy Large Cents when they are special. The secret copper weenie in us is VERY picky!

We actually tried this SUPER HIGH END piece for an MS64BN. Obviously, PCGS didn’t look at it a second time. While we make no promises it will go up, we sure do not see why it did not. The surfaces are absolutely impeccable. Even with a strong glass there are NO problems. A light luster shows off amazing pale totally ORIGINAL red brown/mostly brown colors. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck with a little weakness showing on the stars. The eye appeal is remarkable.

PCGS 8, NGC 3, CAC 3 (only ONE beaned higher). Our auction listings show none since 2006 (although Naftzger had some). Regardless, this is still a VERY rare coin. Opportunity knocks loud for the serious Large Cent collector!
