This is NOT your typical 1818 that was in any hoard. This coin unquestionably sat somewhere totally undisturbed for 190 years.
Perfection rules all over this high end and monster SUPERB GEM. The planchet is smooth and nice, while the surfaces have a slight luster, and do display hints of original Mint RD. There are ZERO imperfections anywhere. If anything all that happened was the color mellowed over the years. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. If you do not LOVE this pieces, then you will NEVER love any 1818 1C. Possibly the FINEST KNOWN in BN! PCGS 1, NGC 2. Neither service has graded any higher.
