1C 1810 PCGS MS64BN

If you really know how to grade Large Cents, then you will see immediately this is not a blah, blah, blah hyped coin made out to be ultra high end-it is the REAL deal! Even we resubmitted it seeking an MS65BN. PCGS was in a bad mood or something that day. We sure can’t find any problems. There is no reason what so ever this coin is not at least an MS64+

First, this coin was struck on a problem free planchet. To the naked eye there are NO imperfections. Even more surprising when using a strong glass-there are NO problems of any size, any where. The texture is smooth and is not crusty like you typically see. There is no such thing as even a toning dot or single microscopic fleck here. A moderate luster (these don’t come lit up like later dates) show off beautiful and totally original moderate chocolate brown colors. There are NO stains. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. Even she displays ZERO imperfections. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 4, NGC 3, CAC 2 (we think this coin is 2X on PCGS and CAC). We can not stress enough the extreme rarity and ULTRA high end quality this piece has. Keep in mind, the last PCGS MS65 that sold in auction brought $149,500.00 09/2009 Goldberg. We sure would love to put this coin next to it and compare. Besides the phenomenal quality, you rarely ever see the Classic pieces ever offered in MS64 or higher. And most of the time when you do, they are crusty and faded. We assure you, this coin is everything we are saying-we just can’t promise it will ever grade higher.
