Its really a miracle that this coin even survived at all, let alone to be in such a wonderful condition after 213 years of existance.
We do consider this high end for the grade. Struck on a problem free planchet, this coin has no pitting and no major marks. The surfaces are a semi glossy moderate chocolate brown color. There are NO discolorations or spots. An interesting die crack runs across the date. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is beautiful!
Not a coin you will see very often. PCGS 3, NGC 0. PCGS has graded 4 in MS64 and 2 in MS65! The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $18,400.00 09/08 in Superior. Opportunity knocks loud here!
