WOW! Hard to believe this coin is 215 years old. No question it was carefully saved and stored all these years.
First, the coin was actually struck on a problem free super glossy planchet. There is NO porosity. The luster is really intense. The surfaces are smooth and have amazing cleanliness. A few LIGHT and hidden toning stains can only be found with a strong glass. Remarkably Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is mind blowing and makes the coin look like a much higher grade!
PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only 6 coins finer. The last one of these to sell in major auction went for $18,400.00 09/2008 Superior. If you are a picky copper collector, you certainly could not ever find a better MS62BN!
