1C 1794 HEAD OF 1794 PCGS MS65+ BN BLUE LAKE

This is a SUPER HIGH END remarkable trophy GEM! Many people who have seen it do agree it is BETTER then the MS66 that is out there. It just is mind blowing how this coin even exists in such a lofty state of preservation. We can’t get over this coins quality. It clearly sat totally undisturbed in the proper setting for 224 years. How many items of any kind can you say that about? Remarkably surfaces are over the top in terms of cleanliness and texture. Clearly they struck this coin on a problem free planchet. In fact, you only get more impressed when you examine this coin with a strong glass. This coin has NEVER been messed with in ANY way. A decent luster for the date can be seen. Both sides are a totally natural rich brown with faint hints of red. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are so sharply struck they look sculpted. The eye appeal is mesmerizing! PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 5. PCGS has graded 3 coins in MS65+ (hard to believe). This is NOT the MS65+ that sold for $189,750.00 in 02/2013. It also should be noted, that there are 2 recorded sales of $126,500.00 and $189,750.00 for MS 65 (no+) coins from the Naftzger sales in 2013. The coin offered here was purchased by the Blue Lake Collector well over a decade ago and has been hidden in his collection since then.
