A borderline AU coin! For an XF it is superior to most-and is that high end!
Surprisingly clean and smooth surfaces adorn both sides. Only with a strong glass can you see a few OLD teenie ticks. There is no real porosity. The surfaces are a wonderful glossy chocolate color. Most important, Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The wear is even and is light. There are NO discolorations from the wear. The eye appeal is so super we just can’t put this GEM XF down (really, we like looking at so much we had delayed offering it).
PCGS 29, NGC 12, CAC 3. NO PCGS CAC’s have sold at auction. A PCGS/NON CAC has in 9/2012. That coin brought $29,900.00. Even a PCGS /CAC XF40 brought $20,125.00 9/12 Goldberg. We know this GEM XF is definitely priced right!
