1875-S $1 NGC MS-64

A cover coin! This is the type of coin that generally makes the cover of a magazine or an auction catalog because it is so pretty. Both sides are covered by a heart pounding mix of pale burnt orange/russet/violet/gold colors. The surfaces are clear and reveal just a teenie scattered tick or two that keep it from being a full GEM. The luster is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes. We have seen many GEMS that are far worse than this coin. As a MS64 you won’t find many better!
