$5 1857-S PCGS MS63+ SS CENTRAL AMERICA
$39,500.00
Forget about is being a Ship Wreck piece, this is one HIGH END and really neat coin!
Only a few trivial ticks and marks can be seen. They do not stand out-you really need a glass to see them well. They only show up because the surfaces are fully prooflike. No, the prooflike mirrors are not from the conservation. Obviously several of these pieces were early strikes. Both sides enjoy full booming flash. There actually is contrast. Miss Liberty and the details have thick frosting and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS63+ from the wreck. In higher grades from the ship 1857S PCGS has graded only 7 more. It should be noted that regular MS63 pieces are a pop of 3. The collectors Universe Value for this piece is a low $33,000.00 (a guess obviously). Only 3154 pieces (total all denominations) were salvaged. Here is a chance to own a real treasure coin that is of extra ordinary quality. Hard to believe it was under the sea in much for 155+ years!
This is real “keeper” of coin. Have dupes or stuff? Trade them for this extreme rarity! One this coin is sold, you probably won’t see it again for a very long time. If you notice, few Ship Wreck pieces were on the market these days.
INCLUDED IN THE BIG HOLDER IS A “PINCH” OF GOLD DUST.
