10C 1942 PCGS PR68 EX SIMPSON

EX Simpson Collection-one of the greatest collections ever formed. We bough this coin for him when he was just starting. He loved proofs and he loves color. Merc. Dimes turned out not to be high on his list, so the few he had became expendable.

First, this coin does NOT have hazy mirrors. They are deep and flashy and do have a little light toning over them. An electric ring of violet/pearl green frames only the obverse rims. There are no imperfections visible anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. This is one merc that is total eye candy!
