10C 1911 PCGS PR68

This piece is more then worthy of its PR 68 designation! Obviously, it is tied for FINEST graded at PCGS for the date.

FLAWLESS surfaces are evenly covered by deep, crystal clear, and highly reflective mirrors. They look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. A marvelous almost heart pounding mix of totally ORIGINAL blue/green/gold/purple colors all gently swirl together on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

ONLY 650 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 7, CAC 4. Until this coin surfaced in 2014, NO PCGS or NGC PR68 had sold for LESS then $11,000.00. Moore stunning, the last recorded sale for ANY PR68 was 02/2006!!! We cannot stress enough the extreme rarity of this piece. We LOVE all PR Barbers-especially if they are colored like this. if you can afford it, a PR67/68 is one heck of a set to build!
