This coin has all the technical qualities to be an MS67. PCGS probably does not like the original “old time” toning.
If you use a strong glass and carefully examine the surfaces, you will find ZERO impairments of any size. The surfaces are also quite smooth. A strong luster enhances the “old time” toning. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do appear boldly. The eye appeal is very pleasing! You couldn’t ask for a more ORIGINAL MS Barber!
PCGS 9, NGC 3, CAC 4. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $4,169.00 05/2009 Heritage. Prior to that, these were selling for $7,475.00 in 2008. Opportunity knocks loud here!
