Both sides are highlighted by crystal clear, super deep, clean, and highly reflective mirrors. An interesting blend of blue/deeper violet colors swirl across parts of both sides. No question this coin is totally original. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is super!
Only 880 were ever minted. PCGS 15, NGC 27, CAC 5. The last one of these sold in major auction (NON CAC) brought $3,738.00 05/2010 Stacks. A 10C 1894 PCGS PR67 CAC just SOLD for $4,370.00 in the recent Heritage auction. We think these are still cheap. Its highly unlikely you’ll see many more graded PR67 or finer at this point. Opportunity knocks loud here!
