Superb in every respect! This VERY high end coin is also a near miss Cameo.
Deep and strikingly glassy mirrors beam from all over. They are also super clean, have great clarity, and are boldly reflective. These mirrors really are superb. A band of original reddish gold/auburn frames the peripheries on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a creamy white. They are also fully struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
Only 972 were minted. PCGS 75, NGC 55, CAC 5. The last one to sell according to our records was a PCGS NON CAC in 2011. That coin brought $1,059.00. It was not any where this coins quality or eye appeal. The marekt has clearly put coins like this on sale. You can build a PR65-66-or even 67 sets or PR Barbers. At these prices , you should!
