What a tragedy these coins have become. To be priced at the levels they are at blows our minds. Why more collectors don’t appreciate them is major wonder to us!
Only one small and well hidden line keeps this coin from being an expensive MS67. Overall, the surfaces are incredibly smooth and clean. An intense luster shows off pretty ORIGINAL slightly deeper evergreen/olive/gold/violet/blue colors that swirl all over. Surprisingly Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck-you actually do NOT need a glass to see her full head. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 44, NGC 65, CAC 10. Prior to this coin selling, on 1/2013 one sold in Heritage for $1,175.00. These just seem waaay too cheap!
