Not as common of a date as you’d think in PR66. This is a beautiful HIGH END GEM!
Superior deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors can be seen from across the room. There are more lines and scuffs on the holder than the coin! Both sides are a moderate and totally ORIGINAL mix of pale green/purple/blue/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is VERY pretty!
ONLY 710 were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 29, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only ONE coin a PR67! The last PCGS/CAC coin to sell in a major auction brought $3,335.00 (8/11 Heritage). These also seem too cheap and a VERY good deal at today’s prices.
