10C 1859 PCGS MS66
$3,250.00
Finding a coin like this from the 1850’s in true GEM really is a treasure! Even though the pops don’t show it, these are genuinely rare!
This coin would an MS66+ or even an MS67 save for a small planchet defect (as made) in the upper right obverse. The surfaces are sleek and are remarkably clean. A strong luster also shows off frosty and fully struck details. Miss Liberty appears very boldly. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 16, NGC 11, CAC 3. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $3,003.00 04/11 heritage. These just seem like such good values.
