SUPERB! A definite “no brainer GEM”!

173 years old and this piece is basically in the same state of preservation as it left the Mint! No question it was lovingly saved and cared for. Both sides are amazingly clean, satiny, and lustrous. A mellow moderate mix of gold/blue/pale violet colors swirl around parts of the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is beautiful! A piece well worthy of inclusion in the finest Bust Dime Collection or Type set .

PCGS 12, NGC 19. PCGS has graded only one coin finer (an MS66). The last one of these to appear in a major auction brought $7,475.00 09/06 Heritage.
