Another wicked neat Bust Dime! You can see the overdate clearly with your naked eye!
Overall,the surfaces appear clean. Only using a strong glass will you find some imperfections in the planchet (minor roughness). The color is an original creamy pewter light gray. Surprisingly, there is a very decent luster. Miss Liberty and the details are surprisingly well struck. An interesting note: the stars at 10:00 and 11:00 look double struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 5, NGC 6. PCGS has only one 65 and one 66 higher. The last one to appear in a major public auction sold for $8,050.00 11/07 Stacks. The extremely low populations make a definitive statement about how this date generally does not come-nice! We think this is a terrific opportunity for an overdate or Bust Dime collector.
