We grade this coin an MS64.8. There are ZERO impairments of ANY size, any where. Even if you use a strong glass you will be impressed about the planchet and the surfaces. A surprisingly strong luster beams from all over. Deeper (but not dull or black) original toning of olive/forest green/navy/blue/pale champagne evenly covers both sides. Amazingly Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck-so sharp that you do NOT need a glass to see the breast feathers on the reverse. There is a small die crack by the date. We believe this is also an early die state. The eye appeal is like everything else about this 218 year old GEM-AMAZING!
