Slightly above average for the date. It is not horribly banged up (as so many can come). Under a glass you can detect a small scrape on the upper cheek. The surfaces are very clean and satiny. An intense luster shows off a richer gold/reddish gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is VERY nice. This coin is housed in an older holder too.
Until recently ANY MS65 has been BID at OVER $5,000.00 WHOLESALE. Now, the Bids are $4,600.00-for live dealer to dealer trades. These are very hard to get at that level.
