No question this coin is 100% original. Thick MATTE surfaces are fully sandblast texture. The color is a rich semi-two tone deep gold. No spots or discolorations can be found. There are ZERO imperfections visible. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this (or ANY GEM PR $10 Indian). ONLY 75 coins were minted. Both PCGS and CAC are extremely stingy on how they grade these. PCGS 6, NGC 8, CAC 2. We do think this coin is represented more than once on the pops and at CAC. If you ever wanted a rare date GEM PR $10 Indian, this is your chance!
