For sure this is one of the prettiest $10 Indians, and maybe even one of the prettiest Indians overall! We rank this coin in the top 2% for the grade as well!
You can’t miss the ultra clean and smooth surfaces that adorn both sides. A very well hidden planchet chip in the left obverse field does not distract or hold back the grade (we do not understand why this coin is not at least a +). A monster full booming cartwheel luster shows off electric colors of yellow gold/orange gold that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is outrageous!
PCGS 61, NGC 47, CAC 4. This is the coin that sold for $18,400.00 in the Heritage 10/2010 sale. It is well worth its premium!
