In the old days, this would have been graded MS65. Today, with pinpoint grading, its a really nice and high end MS64!
Only using a strong glass can you see a few scattered contact marks. Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. There are also a few pinpoint grease dots in the left field. A decent luster shows off even original gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 288, NGC 319, CAC 40. Its been a while since the last PCGS CAC piece sold in auction. That piece brought $3,818.00 03/2013 Heritage. This is not exactly a common date! Love this SUPERB GEM! Plus it is not nearly any where near being a common date.
