If this coin did not have an S on it, it probably would be in an MS65 holder. When PCGS gets that magical + button going, everything gets one!
To the naked eye this coin is as clean and smooth as can be. Only with a strong glass can you see some MINOR cuts on the face and a few ticks scattered about. A full booming sating luster makes the pretty deep ORIGINAL gold colors stand out. There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is great! Do know this date typically comes dull and really crusty.
PCGS 53, NGC 46, CAC 16. In MS64+ the pops are PCGS 16, NGC 5. Its safe to assume the crack out geniuses got to a few of the coins. We doubt the pops are correct. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $17,250.00 11/11 Heritage. This is still a VERY rare date. PCGS has graded only 8 coins higher-and good luck on find any of them!
