Only one small lint mark hidden at 12:00 on the reverse is all that keeps this from a $17,500.00 MS65! EVERYTHING else is full GEM on this coin-especially the obverse (which to us looks 65+)!
Remarkably smooth and velvet like surfaces are void of any marks. They look so creamy you want to dip your finger in them as if you were taking icing off a cake. The color is a gorgeous light gold/yellow gold combo made outstanding by a full booming luster. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strike. The eye appeal is phenomenal-and really IS better than some MS65’s we have seen!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. A regular non CAC NGC MS64 last sold for $9,487.00 11/2010 B+M. CU value on this coin is $11,500.00. This coin is NOT anywhere near average-in the old days it was an MS65!
