if you see this coin in person you will agree that PCGS could very easily have graded it MS65. You bet ya we have seen worse in MS65 holders!
This coin has a wonderful “fresh” look because it is a “fresh” coin to market. We had it graded.
Both sides are incredibly smooth, satiny, and blaze with an intense booming luster. The colors are even yellow gold with hints of reddish gold in a few areas. There are NO spots. The cleanliness of the coin is superior also. No question this is a totally original GEM. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!
Regular pops are: PCGS 47, NGC 39, CAC 6. The last regular NON CAC MS64 to sell in major auction brought $8,338.00 08/2009 B+M. Today, an MS65 would WHOLESALE for nearly $20,000.00 if it were stickered and looked like this. We bought this GEM right and priced it reasonably.
