We really would not have flinched if we had seen this coin in an MS65 holder. It sure does have a full GEM look.
The surfaces are super clean and satiny smooth. Only with a really strong glass can you detect a few widely scattered tiny contact ticks. A strong luster really enhances the even and original gold color. There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
