Hard to believe, but $10 Liberties are RARE in MS66. We have NOT handled one since 2006! If we had seen nice ones, we’d have owned one by now. This coin took us one second to fall in love with!
No question this coin is totally ORIGINAL (not dipped). The surfaces glow with an intense fresh booming luster. Overall, the surfaces appear clean (a few trivial frost breaks and scattered teenie ticks can only be seen with a glass-the image may make them look bigger than they are). Both sides are enlivened by a beautiful mix of orange/yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 163, NGC 260, CAC 15. The last one to sell in major auction brought $8,625.00 04/10 Heritage (a non CAC). Opportunity can’t knock any harder!
