$10 1892CC PCGS MS62 SIMPSON/HALL

$11,500.00

At first glance, this coin looks MS63. You have to look hard to see why PCGS graded it a MS62!

Super satiny surfaces do have some very tiny ticks scattered about. They do not really stand out to the naked eye. A strong “glowing” luster shows off the delicate two tone totally original deep yellow/pale orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full standout strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful!

PCGS 24, NGC 19, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher (the MS63 sold for $41,000.00 back in 2006). The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $9,775.00 09/09 Heritage. Six years is a long time ago! This coin will make a great addition to ANY CC or $10 Liberty set!
