$10 1892 PCGS MS64+ SIMPSON

This piece is from the former #1 all time $10 set-Hall/Simpson. it is a delightful example of a very difficult date and grade.

If this was an 01S, it might make MS65. We have seen far worse in higher holders. We do feel this coin is accurately graded. There just a few microscopic ticks scattered around. Overall, the coin does appear clean. A strong glowing luster shows off the rich original gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 15, NGC 29, CAC 1. Thisis the ONLY MS64+ graded at PCGS. There are at least 14 coins higher. This coin sold for $4,465.00 in our Sept sale. The buyer has changed direction and moved on to PR Barbers! Opportunity knocks loud if you are into better gold.
