$10 1883-CC PCGS AU-58

PCGS was right on the money with how they graded this near MS coin. Only under strong magnification can you detect the stray lines that dictate it is not an UNC. The wear is really invisible to the naked eye. Both sides are very clean and do emit a surprisingly strong luster. The color is a totally original deeper gold with hints of light original toning. There are NO discolorations or unsightly problems. ONLY 12000 pieces were minted. After 20+ years of certification and millions of coins graded, PCGS has only made a lone MS60 higher. NGC has a whopping total of 3 coins better. The great rarity of this date in MS can’t be any more proven! PCGS 6, NGC 15. Opportunity doesn’t just knock, its explodes for the serious CC collector.
