This is a date known to come horrible looking and with many impairments. Fortunately this coin, it is above average (as you would expect for its inclusion in the #1 set)!
At first glance you notice the nearly full prooflike mirrors. Of course they illuminate the tiny ticks that are scattered around. None are severe or detract. Both sides have an interesting pale purple/dirty gold/deep gold colors. There is no visible wear. Miss Liberty and the details are are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is neat!
PCGS 7, NGC 7, CAC 2. The last time a PCGS AU58 sold-was back in 2006. That is forever ago! The lone MS61 (finest known) is in a major collection. This is one heck of any opportunity for any O Mint or $10 Liberty Collector!
