$10 1878-S PCGS AU58

Ever since buying the Ellen #1 MS $10 Liberty set (later to become the Simpson set, then added to Tyrannt), we have had some education about $10 Libs. They not only are rare, but they really do not appear much in nice UNC! This 1878S is exceedingly rare and is a true “stopper” for any one building a $10 Liberty set. This coin is a borderline full MS. We really can see any rub that keeps this coin from full MS. There are NO  discolorations. Never dipped this coin is original and has some slight original toning (it is not “dirty” either). The luster is surprisingly strong. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 9, NGC 23 CAC 2 (CAC has stickered NONE higher). PCGS has graded only one coin-an MS64 higher. We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this coin in MS. The last CAC /PCGS piece to sell at a major auction brought $4,313.00 1/11 Heritage. We know we paid more for this one! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
