$10 1855 PCGS AU58

No question this coin is a SUPERB GEM AU. We’ve seen MS61’s that do not look anywhere near as nice. Excellent surfaces have only light and old well hidden ticks. Even when using a strong glass there is not much to see. There actually is some luster here. A really neat thick coating of dusky gold frames the peripheries. Both sides are a totally original faded gold color. There are zero spots or discolorations on the high points. Miss Liberty and every detail standout with crisp sharp strikes. You have to look really hard to find the wear. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 37, NGC 149, CAC 15. No PCG CAC piece have sold at auction since 2010!  That as forever ago!
