Hard to imagine how this coin has any luster all-but it does. It is in a wonderful state of preservation.
This is NOT a horribly hacked up coin. It does have a few old ticks, but nothing serious. There definitely is luster around the devices and towards the centers. No spots or discolorations are visible. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. Not bad looking at all for an AU50!
PCGS 16, NGC 24, CAC 1. PCGS has graded ONLY 15 coins higher (possibly). Do not be fooled by the pops, this is a rare date in ANY grade!
