$1 LAFAYETTE DOLLAR PCGS MS65

This is a jaw dropping gorgeous GEM in every respect!

We were blown away at the intensity of the booming luster. The surfaces are remarkably clean and silky smooth. A phenomenal light to moderate shade of pale purplish/auburn frames only the peripheries on each side. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The ONLY thing we can find that keeps this coin from an MS66 is a small HIDDEN line on the trunk of G.W’s neck. Otherwise, this coin is a contender for higher! The eye appeal is just stunning!

Do not let the pops fool you. Finding an eye appealing, true GEM (and one that’s CAC’d) is nearly impossible these days. So many have weak strikes, ugly toning, many have been messed with, and sadly many have also been over graded! PCGS 242, NGC 188, CAC 21.

This coin is a MUST SEE for the pickiest Commem collector.
